Outspoken actor Samuel L. Jackson admits he had "really hoped" the shooter in the San Bernardino attack was white because he didn't want Muslim-Americans to get any more backlash than they already have.


The "Hateful Eight" star told the Hollywood Reporter he empathizes with Muslim-Americans, whom he believes are becoming the "new young black men" in the United States due to the wave of scrutiny they are receiving.


“I can't even tell you how much I really wanted (the San Bernardino shooting) to just be another, you know, crazy white dude, and not really some Muslims," he told the magazine. "Because it's like, 'Oh, s---. It's here.' "

Well, Sam admits it at least.

White men are actually pretty tame in this country. Of course, oppressing women and people of color takes a lot of time lol. But all you have to do is account for population size and run the numbers; then it's obvious that white men don't hold a candle to their more violence prone demographic counter-parts. It's never good to be on the wrong side of math.

Sam should face reality or else be prepared to be disappointed again.

The things is, all of these people are so, so oppressed - but the blacks aren't running back to africa, massive waves of people are flowing in from central/south america and elsewhere - yet the whites running the US are just so insanely racist/oppressive, etc. It is just absolute horseshit; like the fakestinians in Israel - they have it so, so bad, and have 57 muslim countries to move to - yet none leave. I wonder why...

Are whites, much less conservative white males, even running the US lol? That's a joke. Poor old liberal Rahn Emmanuel is getting ready to be run out Chicago. Baltimore and nearly every large urban area is run by liberals and even liberal minorities in several instances. Nary a white person of consequence around, and they're coming apart at the seams. The country has had a black president and two black AG's for 8 years and they still turn on law enforcement as if it were run by the Klan.

I honestly think the left misses the Klan because they are in dire need of a scapegoat for their failed policies. How long before they start to cannibalize themselves?

It is sad commentary. Unfortunately, he believes his reasoning to be correct because of fear mongering on the right. More unfortunately is the fact that he actually wished this to be a white person. Why not a black person? Is he racist?
 
The idea that because there are racists of every ethnicity means it is okay to be a racist is a stupid idea. Long ago your mother told you that two wrongs do not make something right.

The sad fact is the aftermath would have harmed fewer people IF that shooter had been a white guy who hated his fellow employees.

This actually could have been a good topic of discussion. But alas, it's ruined by the OP and their own racist perspective.

Samuel Jackson wished it had been a white person. Why? Should it be acceptable to make those kinds of statements? Does ones own sense of persecution, because of their own race's troubles, entitle them to this perspective? If not, at least,more so, than that of a non persecuted race?
