It's going to be pretty difficult for Zimmerman's attorney to argue he's not a flight risk now.

He also lied when He stated he didn't know TM was so young, when it is on record him stating the suspect was in his late teens. He also stated he did not if the suspect was armed or not. Would you pursue an armed suspect in the shadows if you thought there was a possibility he was armed? he also lied about funds. is there ANYTHING he did not lie about?

Looks like he is going to be doing some time.

He also used code talk like drug dealers to hide his finances and he tried to hide the funds in multiple accounts. Who does things like that? Criminals.

Therefore either Zimmerman has no credibility in the American Justice system, OR he is guilty and scared for his life. Either way, he ruined his credibility and you admitted he was considering skipping town, therefore a flight risk! Maybe that is why he wanted to manage his own funds(Made his own site apart from the one his lawyer made) because he wanted access to the money incase he skipped town!

i would give him bail, because zimmerman is likely an innocent man. Also you can't blame the guy, given how the media has participated in straight up propaganda to turn people against him.

Recent events notwithstanding, he had a great shot at walking. All it would take is one sympathetic juror, and he's free to kill again.

IMO, it was Martin's family who would see no justice. It seems the SYG philosophy is very popular in Floriduh, so getting a jury that is 100% against Zimmerman is a longshot.
