I think people who have gone in whole hog on Trump can actually transition out of that, but it's difficult. Many will achieve it, others will never give him up. It will take time, and each in his own time. Hopefully, as support for him diminishes, he will become as irrelevant as he was for most of his life. Best case is he ends up in shame in prison.

Yet for years - and still - they COMPLETELY ignore the Yemeni Civil War where US/British are helping the Saudi's bomb and kill tens of thousands of innocent civilians.

Plenty of people are concerned about the Yemen war. But that is old news. And a different situation.
People are rightly alarmed and shocked at the ruthlessness of the Russian invasion. And it just happened. It didn't have to at all. Putin attacked civilians. apartments, schools, hospitals. Whatever propaganda he is pushing, it is no justification for such cruelty.
Putin is not responsible enough to be the leader of Russia.
Putin is a monster. He has savagely attacked a peaceful people who have done nothing to provoke him. Whatever respect Putin might have had is gone now in most of the world. He may be able to control the story in Russia, for at least whomever buys into his government narrative, but for most of the rest of the world? He is a monster. A common thug. A dictator, a cheap greedy master of propaganda.
He has achieved nearly absolute power and it has absolutely corrupted him.
Human life on Earth would be far better off if Putin never existed, was never even born.
Zelenskyy is a hero. He is exactly what Ukraine needs right now in a leader. Zelenskyy is amazing.
