Pete Buttigieg, the leprechaun that thinks highways are racist, was here in Arizona last week trying to sell the infrastructure projects the Joke administration handed out. $75 million in them.
Well, one for $25 million is to put a pedestrian and bicycle bridge over the--as Pete put it Rio Salado River, or Salt River River, not realizing that "River" is redundant when you use the Spanish term-- at 3rd St. in S. Phoenix. He claims this will bring minority neighborhoods together and give access to downtown Phoenix to those neighborhoods.
I guess the dumbfuck has never looked at a map. On either side of this location, there are nothing but industrial parks and heavy industry. I-17 cuts the bridge off from downtown as well. There isn't a house within a mile of this bridge and those would have to navigate through manufacturing plants, employee parking lots, and the like to get to it.
A total waste of money on a project that does nothing. How typical of the Joke administration...

In Phoenix, the Biden administration is awarding $25 million toward the construction of a pedestrian and bicycle bridge across the Rio Salado River. Once completed, the Third Street Bicycle and Pedestrian Project will connect south Phoenix residents to the city's downtown area.
