Trump grants month-long tariff reprieve to Mexico
Mexico will be granted a month-long reprieve from tariffs on goods that fall under an existing free-trade agreement with the United States, President Donald Trump said Thursday after a conversation with Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum.
Tariffs on those goods have been pushed back until April 2, Trump wrote on social media, a day after granting a narrower exemption to carmakers.
