Yes, we did

Or perhaps you could simply ignore the hyperbole and not whine about it?

Or perhaps you could simply let us know what portion of a persons post you find to be bullshit so that we don't have to guess what you mean?

If I ignored every post that contained hyperbole, I'd never get to respond to anything...

And I'm sorry, I thought the fact that disloyal was whining about PACKING TAPE made it kinda clear what portion of the post I found to be BS. I'll try to be more specific in the future.

The tape wasn't the issue. It was the postal clerk saying they were so far in the red they couldn't even afford to hand out 9" of packing tape. Also to underscore the umitigated gall to even suggest the US Postal service is anything close to something the government "runs well".

Zappa has stepped in and he keeps trying to wipe his feet off.

Another blown opportunity and he's literally wetting his pants he's so pissed.

No one cares about zappy, except zappy.

One year ago, the postmaster general told the House that the P.O. was facing a severe financial crisis that wasn't going to ease anytime soon and they were facing a loss of historic proportion. The P.O. is in the red by billions of dollars, proving that government run anything doesn't work.

The USPS is obligated to serve all Americans, regardless of geography, at uniform price and quality. Any private contractor would just cherry pick the profitable business as has already happened in the UK.

Is English your first language? I'll repeat: "I did mention in that post that the constitution absolutely gives the government power over the military, and that is where I think it should stay."

I am just wondering what you mean by efficiency? How do you measure it, kills per soldier or least number of bullets used, maybe?

It may very well be that Blackwater is more efficient than our regular military. In fact it is likely.

Any business, public or private is not efficiently run if it has billions of dollars losses.

Then the answer is to have different postal rates for rural and city dwellers but I doubt that you will like that. No private organisation would take on the Post Office remit as it is not profitable as it stands. It also used to subsidised until the early 1980s.
