apr 1 2023 Colorado is known for its world-class ski resorts and offers some of the best skiing and snowboarding in North America. But it may soon be known as the one place where a ski lesson is mandatory for anyone who wants to hit the slopes.

If you’re planning to make turns in Colorado next season, be prepared to have your skiing critiqued by a professional. Starting next season, the state will be enforcing a mandatory ski lesson for all skiers and snowboarders regardless of ability.

The bold move will ensure that everyone on the hill is familiar with the skier code and what trails they should be skiing on.

Some skiers are applauding the move, while others feel it’s a cash grab by the ski areas. “There is a lot of sloppy skiing going on out there.” Says Bob Smith, “This is a great way to ensure that Colorado slopes are safe.”

What is the cost of a human life?

What is the cost of a broken leg?

What is the cost of running into a tree or person at 60 miles per hour?

What is the cost of ignorance? YOU MAY WANT TO SPECIFICALLY CHECK THAT OUT!

What is the cost of sliding into third base while with a porn star on the first day in April?

I know this is april 1, but i think this article is serious.

It is April 1st, and only in one single source, which I have never heard of: "Unofficial Network"???

You would think someone... ANYONE... else would have picked up on such a story.

But if there still is a question, look at the original article and see at the end: "Happy April Fools Day".

I don't know a single skier who did any mount of it that didn't get seriously fucked up at one time or another.
Bones, joints, connecting tissue, and the like are all fair game,
and serious head injuries are not uncommon.

In terms of danger,
boxing was closer to croquet than to hitting the slopes.

I showed a little judgment in choosing a sport, although I will admit,
golf didn't do too much to control my blood pressure.

That was harder for me than boxing as well,
but at least I was never in serious physical danger.

I'll pass on the skies, however.

I went to college a couple years in Denver and worked at Porter Memorial Hospital there. The slops use cardboard splints on injured legs. It was always fun to count the cardboard splints stacked outside of the ER entrance after the weekend.
