‘Wrong and un-American’: Biden blasts Texas Republicans’ SB7 voting bill

.
If hojo is so worried about what goes on in Texas ... why doesn't he take care of the US border there ???

Joe Biden has condemned as “wrong and un-American” a Texas state bill set to pass into law which the president said “attacks the sacred right to vote”, particularly among minorities.

from the link.....
The bill follows moves in other Republican-controlled states which sponsors insist merely seek to guard against voter fraud but which are seen by most analysts to be aimed at restricting voting by sections of the population which tend to vote Democratic
are those two statements contradictory?........obviously if you act to prevent voter fraud its going to impact people who vote demmycrat the most.....

Why don't all these states that claim to be creating laws about security (after the most secure election in our history) prove it isn't about disenfranchisement with 1 simple step....

Make election day a state holiday.

That would ensure everyone has time to complete the process. The places where unsuspectedly their are long line every election people will be able to vote without the stress of employment.

If these states led the way on that while passing these laws under their slave plantation pictures, at least their claims about wanting everyone who can legally vote to vote, won't be quite so laughable.

Texas has early voting so there is plenty of opportunities to vote. We don't need a "state holiday".
