Canadians are many times more likely than Americans to be hunters. Literally, urban residents of Canada hunt more than rural residents of the USA. They are also more likely to target shoot with rifles.

Canada fought in both world wars before the USA, and had much higher losses. They also fought in Korea. They avoided Vietnam, but they have been active in many wars.

They have a well deserved reputation for great snipers in their military.
