Woke is an often misused word, for the right, it is kinda like “deep state,” amebic in nature, adaptable to degrade just about anything you don’t like nor can understand. For the left, it is employed too often to rationalize idiocy, the misuse of the pronoun “they” being a good example

The word "woke" originated from African-American community in the 1930's then resurfaced within the community in the 2010's. The Black people try to bring awareness to the general populace.
You might not realize it, but every time you "denigrate" the word "woke", you "denigrate" the entire Black community.
