"There are a LOT of people out here, FED UP! Disgusted with YOU and your partisan political bullshit! We are growing sick and tired of being called "TEABAGGERS" and denigrated personally for believing in God or owning a Gun or Pickup truck! Mostly, we are sick of you trying to seize control of power to implement outright Marxist Socialism on America against their will! Americans will not stand for this shit! I promise you that! I am not going to tell you when that time is coming, you will know a second after the bullet penetrates your empty skull! But this country is nearing that tipping point, and you fuckwits better either realize that or get your affairs in order. " - DIXIE 03/16/10

I belive we all support his right to say the above, but can we all agree its distastefull?

I think its a little over the top. But thats Dixie. And what he actually meant is valid. If the gov't steps over the line then a revolution is in order.

Jarod, are you saying that the population should always accept what the gov't does and that the ballot box is the only method of change?

No, but I belive Murder is not an acceptable method of chance in our modern times.

So you agree with the principle, just not the methods he advocates?

So the two of you are only arguing the details, not the actual prospect of potentially having to stop the gov't from overstepping its bounds.

how many posts have you made of this jarod....100?

its hilarious how you will run all over the board when you think you have a winning point, yet you will run away from your dishonest cheney thread.

Jarod, this thread has more than 1 reply, time to start another 100,000 about the exact same thing.

Seriously, I'm willing to bet that 50% of the threads on this board are Jarods and there are only about 15 different topics.

If all other options have been tried, to what should they turn?

perserverance, try harder... try try again....

non-violent Civil disobediance.....

We have a hundred years of options left to try before violence is all that is left.

And if they believe that they have used up the 100 years of "other options" and "persisted" as long as possible?

USC still holds the record, but WM is closing in on it. If Gerud keeps it up, then he can pull it off. WM is not the prolific thread creator that he once was.

You just want to destroy government so multinationals can take over. Government is our last protection against the ravages of globalization madness.

We need a populist government, not a revolution. Stop being moronic.

In a Democracy I do not belive that the minority ever has a right to use violence to overthrow the duely elected government. Its the rules we live by. Leave the country before you take up arms against a duely elected government.

What DIXIE said has nothing to do with responding to a denial of the right to vote or the right to have your say... He said that the violence that was coming was because of the promotion of socialism and name calling. In fact he was discussing violence as a result of people voting for a political ideology, and for people exersizing freedom of speech by name calling.

In condem that, and suspect you would also, if you were not blinded by ego.

What you believe may have no bearing on reality. It is also clear that radicals attacking government are not "conservative" even if you want them to be. Nor does this one lunatic's actions mean that "conservatives" are "killing people" like they "always do" as you suggested in another thread.

There is no evidence that this was a conspiracy at the moment, until we find out what this was about let's hold on to reality.

But then again, it may. You have to admit conservatives are generally more anti-government than libs. Just generally. Stop with your bullshit.

Do you think this gentleman is conservative?

I would have to say that conservatives are less inclined to seek to centralize power in the Federal government, but to suggest they believe in anarchy is contrary to an extremity. You may be mixing up libertarians with conservatives, but even libertarians believe that government is a necessary evil. I think you are just attempting to "blame" without knowledge, nor even a pattern. If "all conservatives" were indeed "killing people" there will be a definitive pattern we can work with, at this point it is all conjecture based solely on what either side "wants" to believe.

Thankfully nobody that I know of is trying to suggest that this is a "liberal plot" to "get rid of second amendment rights" or some other nonsense.
