Yes....You should teach how Africans made slaves of their own brothers and sold them off like animal stock to Arabs and Europeans. Good thing American Whites brought an end to slavery here. Sadly it still exists in Africa, the home of Slavery. They should be very ashamed.

You cannot be serious. Most people know that some, a very few, blacks had slaves in America. They are not representative of slavery in America. The white southerners who institutionalized slavery are. Why do rightys think an incident proves the rule? Slavery was not a white problem because some blacks were involved in the slave trade. Is that logical to you?
When a black American finds his family was involved in slavery they are very ashamed and sad. Those are feeling you do not have, but should.
 
So long as the WOKE are in charge history will not be taught....they dont believe it in.....they take away history and replace it with ideological indoctrination.

Schools, the Woke, and the radical Left will include the marginally employed, nobody, who other than in a single act did nothing to advance civil rights Rosa Parks and the bus seat incident in their history lessons holding her up as a paragon and martyr of their causes. Yet, they completely ignore Elizabeth Jennings Graham, a Black woman, who in pre-Civil War New York City when given the exact same treatment as Parks stood up for herself, sued the trolley company, and in the end got the New York City trolley system desegregated mostly by herself and her own actions.

As far as I can tell, the Left doesn't like Ms Graham because she was successful. She was well educated, a schoolteacher, her family were self-made successes--her father held one of the first patients by a Black in America, and was accepted into polite New York society (for example she was a member of the Ladies Literary Society of New York). That's everything the Left hates.

Yes, that's a classic Marxist strategy, Chairman Mao Zedong, used it in his bloody "Cultural Revolution" in China during the 1960s. He ordered the Red Guard to set about destroying "The Four Olds": Old Ideas; Old Culture; Old Customs and Old Habits. His reasoning was that: "he who controls the past determines the future".

Nicole - Jones that America was "founded" in slavery in 1619, not in 1776. The revolution, she asserted was not fought to win American independence for the colonists, but rather to defend the future of the institution of Black slavery in America. This, of course was an outrageous and bizarre lie. Despite the "1619 Project being exposed as garbage history that was nothing more than a blot of woke, racist shit; it earned Hannah-Jones the 2020 Pulitzer Prize for composition. It was converted into a teaching/learning resource by the New York Times and tens of thousands of copies were issued to schools for use in classroom instruction.




When asked, in 2019, by the editor of the NYT (a disreputable leftist/Democrat rag) what her motivation was for writing the "1619 Project", Nicole Hannah-Jones - who had publicly described White Americans as (quote): "blood-suckers" and "blue-eyed devils" - said her goal was to secure "reparations" (i.e. cash reparations for Black Americans in respect of the practice of slavery in America during the 18th and 19th century.

Was the NYT"} ever held accountable for publishing her risible faux history and disseminating countless thousands of copies of it to American schools? You ......are a dumb fuck. I wasnt talking about blacks owning slaves here in America. I was talking about Africa being the location where the slavery began. That African Blacks made war on their brothers, enslaved them, then sold them off as stock to Arabs and Europeans who then took them off to other locations and resold them off for profit. In our case the Slave traders brought them here to America. The FACT remains though that the slavery began in Africa with blacks attacking other blacks and then making slaves of them in Africa and selling them off to European Slave traders for profit.

Isn't it kind of ironic that the same people who called the Lefties snowflakes are so very afraid of being uncomfortable when past injustices are brought up, that they have to pass laws to make sure that doesn't happen? But yeah, taking down a statue dedicated to a Confederate traitor is "erasing history." :rolleyes:

Slavery has been around about as long as man and to say it started in Africa as though the white man who transported thousands of slaves to America is innocent is really fucking stupid but I would not expect anything less from you.

Not what I said at all,.... dont be stupid. But those of us who actually KNOW history refuse to let people leave out black peoples role in slavery. American slavery BEGAN in Africa. Africans made war on their brother Africans. They then enslaved them and sold them to slave traders who then took them to America. THAT is exactly what happened. Teach it,.......or STFU.
 
The woke are not interested in actual TRUTH. What interests them is NARRATIVE,.....whether true or not.
