Nancy Pelosi thinks probably not. As Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin writes in a column today, Pelosi wants Democrats to focus on "kitchen table issues" as the mid terms approach. More, she is able to
point to successes Democrats have achieved recently in enacting popular legislation. In the background would be the assurance that Democrats stand as a guard rail for women's civil rights and an alternative to the turmoil in store for the country if it chooses another four years with Trump.

It would be difficult to complete an election process if El Trumpo was a candidate.
It's likely that all ballot venues would have to be guarded by troops, that some foolproof surveillance systems would have to be implemented for the counts and that the result would not be accepted, no matter who loses.
Then what ?
President Virus went a long way to destroying the American democratic system, crap though it is. Running again would be the coup de grace .

As for Pelosi- she's signed the death warrant for an independent Taiwan.
Biden has us on the verge of WW3 and has crippled Europe's fuel supplies.

Not that it really matters. Most American politicians have sold their souls anyway.
