Are the GOP faithful are hoping for mass destruction so they can get "revenge" for Bushs massive fail in 2005?

They could care less about American lives and property - they proved that with Katrina.

President Obama isn't taking any chances that his response to Hurricane Irene will be a repeat of President Bush's weak performance in dealing with Hurricane Katrina in the summer of 2005.

Obama and his advisers are going all-out to make clear that they are on top of the situation and aren't taking their eyes off the approaching storm.

In contrast, Bush was severely criticized for failing to recognize the devastating potential of Katrina on the Gulf Coast and he seemed out of touch and insensitive—which was an impression that many Americans held for the remainder of his presidency.

Obama made a statement this morning pledging an aggressive federal response to Irene as it bears down on the East Coast. "If you are in the projected path of this hurricane, you have to take precautions," the president said. "All indications point to this being a historic hurricane."

And his senior advisers and appropriate cabinet members have been issuing their own statements describing the administration's many steps toward readiness.

What the fuck is that supposed to mean? How would Irene and Obama even remotely be compared to Katrina and Bush? For one, Obama isn't self-serving and insensitive to any one's groups' needs. Two, appropriately, he cut his vacation short from Martha's Vineyard, and returned to Washington, unlike Bush. And three, Obama is unlikely to make the same mistakes as Bush did with FEMA.
Your post is "politically-baiting", if not 'race-baiting"...but then you like mess and drama.

You certainly are stupid.

The OP and post 2 highlight the differences between Bush the bumbler and Obama. Read much?

What's even more hilarious is your hook-up with Yurtroll.

I guess Yurts nuts were blocking your line of sight.

Well, with you as the judge, I take pride in your assessment. Hey, numbnuts, you're the one that posted the OP...and it was pure "baiting". Talking out both sides of your mouth.

This message is hidden because Yurt is on your ignore list.

Beg to differ, the man's wording is specifically pointing the GOP's penchant for going negative on ANYTHING Obama does, and thus just extrapolating on past actions. Bottom line: if you've heard Cantor's most recent statement, you would be in complete agreement with \\(\(\/)/)// supposing.

Beg to differ with you differ....it's simply a cry for attention. If you notice, most of his OP's are "baiting".

What's that sound? Oh, yeah - no one complaining about the fed response to Irene.

Obama cuts his vacation short, monitors the situation constantly, and FEMA gets universal praise from local officials all along the east coast for their readiness & responsiveness.

That's how it's done...

Poor translation. I have no doubt you were hoping for the Feds to botch Irene, so you could start a few "where are the lefties now?" posts, but it just didn't come to pass.

Did you catch the universal praise for FEMA, all up & down the coast? Pretty cool stuff...

actually, the translation was quite accurate. you love obama. he can do wrong. you sing his praises all the live long day. everything is bush's fault, obama is a saint.

you're a sick bastard to claim i would want the feds to botch irene. unlike you, i don't put politics above human life.

Everything isn't Bush's fault. The economy is, though; still can't understand why you have a hard time w/ that.

As for who is sick, I wasn't the one hoping the Feds would botch Irene...

I suppose Eric Cantor isn't putting politics above human life by demanding spending cuts in exchange for disaster relief?

right, bush is to blame for everything that happened with the economy, even today. obama has no responsibility, all the responsibility for the economy still rests on bush's shoulders.

show where i wanted the feds to botch irene. if you don't, then that proves you lied. simple really. that you would even accuse someone of that, shows me that you're a sick bastard. that thought never entered my mind, but YOU obviously believe politics are more important than a human life. you're twisted.
