Yes, all 4,200 are overhead. They serve 80 million students, so that is a very low overhead. They cost about 0.3% of the ED budget. Or put another way, there are 4,200 employees overhead on a budget of $238.04 billion. By the way, DOE is the Department of Energy.

Sweden has a budget deficit of 0.8% of GDP, which is barely anything. It's entire government debt is at 31.9% of GDP, which is very low.

Given how much fraud and corruption? If Elon found it, why did he not prosecute them and name them for all to be aware of? This is a massive crime wave and theft of our super duper hard earned tax money. Let's start by airing names and crimes.

In Arizona alone there have been three recent cases of Medicaid fraud totaling nearly $3 billion dollars. The largest was a $2.2 billion ring on Indian reservations for mental health wellness programs. That's one drop in a very big bucket of fraud and corruption going on with taxpayer money.

So, what you are saying is the revenue losses the IRS claims will happen with a RIF are 100% real and that any savings DOGE has made on government spending, etc., are 100% false. I think I see nothing but political bias on your part about this.

What did the courts find? One of the largest frauds in Medicare history was perpetrated by a Florida Healthcare company. The guy running the company was sentenced to a couple of terms as Governor and is now a senator. Thank you Rick Scott.
 
What is valuable in the computer age is information. You get bombarded by companies trying to get your email and information. Now the goofball Musk has all the secret, private information of all Americans. The value of that is impossible to estimate.
