In the UK, as I understand it, police 'officers' as opposed to policemen and police women, act according to statute and legislated rules which we, mistakenly, equate with 'law'. To enforce those acts there must be a form of contract or agreement between the two parties. You should never give your name or any personal detail to any police officer no matter how he or she tries to persuade you, since to do so signifies that you are part of the contract or agreement. The legislation, that a police 'officer' is paid by corporate government to enforce, is legislation designed for the profit of the state. You are permitted to live within your state (country) provided that you contribute to its profitability. You must work, for which they give you a piece of paper with a promise written on it, or you must pay fines and taxes.
The police MAN is there to protect you. The police OFFICER is there to extract whatever revenue he can. They are, of course, the same person, but their duties and obligations are different.
Remember also that they cannot hold you without charge for more than a certain time (varies by country and, maybe, state.) If they officially arrest you they must charge you with an offence.
The law that we accept can be simplified to, 'don't hurt anyone, dont steal from anyone'. If you have not hurt anyone or stolen from them and are arrested it is an arrest made by 'corporate' america, or 'corporate' UK and is part of the revenue collecting machine.
Police officers seldom know the law nor do they know the legislation sufficiently well to act in full confidence. How many cases are thrown out of court because the police screwed up?
Now, there are several parts of this that are fairly new to me so, rather than offer hoots of derision, why dont you help spread this important information and correct it where necessary.
