When after condemning him they they were forced, in their opinion, to give him their complete support because they realized that so many of the Republicans helped in the process of the attempted overthrow of our government and country that it prosecuted for their treasonous action( being insurrectionist) that they wouldn't have a party anymore. So they all sold out our country to stay in power. That's the facts and that is exactly what history will say about these creeps.

Trump, it seems, has the ability to primary politicians who do not back him 100 percent. The problem for him now is that his backing is showing real weakness. Politics is the business of getting re-elected. They thought they needed him. Now it shows they do not. The reds who were terrified on 1-6 actually caved to ambition. Now they may be able to move on.

not just the right. independents are saying this is political theatre and have stopped caring.

only the extreme left are really caring - we have real issues going on - not fake ones that only liberals use to try to win elections

Dims should concentrate on Jan. 6 in the upcoming midterms. If they did that they'd win every election including all down ballot ones. The border fiasco, exponential increase in violent crime, and rampant inflation are non-issues. In fact they are winning issues as far as dims are concerned.
Wait I got it... dims should point to their humanitarian success in not enforcing existing immigration laws. Their success in keeping minorities out of prison by not prosecuting violent criminals. Their "messaging" is all that needs fixing.

For some, but the vast majority it is because they are afraid of what Trump will do to them, not a lot of personal courage there over on the right

This is driven home by McCarthy’s latest debacle, he got caught flat out lying twice, and he was more worried about, and the GOP was focused on, how he might have offended Trump rather than the fact that he got flat out lying twice

Just as the 'grab em by the pussy' tape meant nothing, the same applies to everything that trump does.

The Republicans have the normal initial reaction, but after polling they find that jumping back on the trump train is the correct move if they want to stay employed.

trump needs a bullet in the head.
