I was kind of bummed after Brown's victory, though in the end, I don't think Coakley really deserved the win. I was more bummed because I knew the gloat festival that follows a race like that.

Now, I'm of the mindset that it was probably the best thing for the Dems, and certainly for Obama. I'm not sure that the GOP needs to be "nervous," but November might not be the tsunami it could have been.

The Republicans can win by pretending not to be Republicans. Problem is, once you win, people are going to remember awfully fast. Your party is shit.

The best thing that could happen to Obama is for R's to take back the house so that you guys can embarrass yourselves again. We'll win 300+ seats in 2012.
