Over here cigarette smokers are heroes, they pay taxes for the NHS and don't hang around long enough to collect their pensions. Last time I checked it was calculated that smoking diseases accounted for around £2 billion per year whilst taxes on tobacco pulls in around £9 billion.

Why should people that eat cheeseburgers? That's not healthy. Why should people that drink alcohol get health insurance? That's not healthy either.
In fact, why should people that don't exercise the daily alloted amount receiver health insurance?
Pretty soon the government might give taxbreaks for those that exercise properly, or keep their weight under a certain limit. Government controlled healthcare leads to control over peoples lives in many different ways. It will lead to telling you what to eat, what to do with your free time, what drugs you should or shouldn't consume. Slaves, sheep, and takers love this because they are animals. They love being caged up and taken care of. Free people should be very alarmed.
Don't smokers pay more for insurance?

smokers didn't pay more??? that's crazy. it's the most destructive health hazard you can engage in
If we cut these dumb asswipes off the insurance roles, prices would drop pronto.

Actuaries love smokers, everybody's life insurance premiums would go up if people stopped smoking. If you account for the heart disease that smoking contributes too it is the biggest killer of humans by far

Why do you think there's a box for smokers to check? Not under Obamacare, if they paid for a lung transplant they could not afford insurance
