Why is a Las Vegas Sherrife discussing the shopting in Vegas? The FBI quit or what?

I myself have no conspiracy theory but this shooting is begging for them.

They, literally, reversed the timeline by putting the security guard getting shot well before [six minutes?!] Paddock opened fire instead of the security guard interrupting Paddock and saving lives.

How can they such an important fact so wrong?

And Anne Coulter brought up what should have been obvious criticism: it's statistically impossible to make millions on video poker. So maybe Paddock was laundering money instead?

And finally, Paddocks residence was broken into [really?!] but nobody knows what was taken [really?!].

Of all the mass shootings this is definitely the strangest one and the investigation is either being woefully mishandled or there IS more to it than we know. It's either one or the other.

I'll put that much out there.

Are you saying that the FBI does not have jurisdiction there? or that they are not actually the lead investigating agency? If not what the FUCK do we pay them for?

the only reason the FBI would have jurisdiction is if a state line were crossed during the commission of the crime OR a federal law was violated. neither of those two things has happened. Now the FBI can be all dumb and happy to advise the sheriff at his discretion, but this is not a federal jurisdictional case.

I am not aware that the FBI "knew this was coming and did nothing".

If you want to be as careless as Amadoofus, Evince, and Comrade Brad Jarod, go for it.

Trust me ISIS crossed state lines, this is what they are trying at all cost to hide, in fact the day after this shooting 3 ISIS fighters were arrested for planning a concert attack in NY

Did you notice the LACK of spent shell casings in the hotel photo pictures?

unless the FBI comes forward with evidence that the shooter was ISIS, no jurisdiction.

irrelevant. maybe they were already collected or maybe there was a catch bag on the rifles. The lack of casings does not make it a federal crime.

the bottom line is that as it stands right now, no federal crime is suspected or you can bet your ass the FBI would be in on this.

You can not say that no shell casings are not relevant, unless there is a reason for this.

The carpet should be covered, not just scattered by casings

as far as making it a federal crime, it IS irrelevant. THAT was my point in saying it's irrelevant. If you want to discuss 'conspiracies', i'm all for it, but you made this about the FBI and they just do not have jurisdiction at this point.

It is Federal because the shooter has a new and illegal gun that does not use shell casings for the slugs. This might be alien technology, or there is another shooter somewhere, or perhaps tourist flooded the room and picked up shell casings as souvenirs?
