If the US Armed Forces were good enough to extract Maduro from Venezuela un a lightening raid with no loss of American miliary /security/Intelligence personnel during the mission., why can't Trump do the je same thing in Iran?

Once he's eliminated these ass-holes, then he can appoint an American caretaker administration to get Iran back on its feet. (The would be paid for with a fitting amount of Iranian oil/gas to cover the costs ?)

There are over 100,000 mullahs in Iran. Most have little to do with national politics. They are local religious leaders, so spread out across the country. Killing them all would be a major undertaking, and would accomplish little to nothing.

Killing the Ayatollah would also accomplish little. The rest of the government would still be there. Top leaders die from time to time, it is just life. That does not mean the system changes.

In Venezuela, the same thugs on motorbikes are still enforcing totalitarian oppression. trump is unwilling to change that, so is offering to help finance the thugs. I guess trump can also offer to finance the Iranian totalitarian system.
