Simone Biles attacked former collegiate swimmer Riley Gaines on Friday, blasting the swimmer-turned-political activist for calling out Champlin Park High School, a Minnesota high school softball team (a girls sport) that just won a state championship while, according to Gaines, having a boy on its roster as the team’s star player. It’s the latest example of the attack on women’s sports.
Given the biological advantages a male has over a female in softball, most normal people would have agreed with Gaines for the simple fact that one team of high school girls did not lose a championship to another team of high school girls. An opportunity for fair scholastic athletic competition was stolen from all of Champlin Park’s actual female opponents this year. One would think Biles would be empathetic. Instead, she exhibited her left-wing cult of transgenderism and vilified Gaines.
“You’re truly sick, all of this campaigning because you lost a race,” Biles posted on X. “Straight up sore loser. You should be uplifting the trans community and perhaps finding a way to make sports inclusive OR creating a new avenue where trans feel safe in sports. Maybe a transgender category IN ALL sports!!”
Biles’s response is absolutely nothing short of unhinged. It’s indicative of society’s left-wing brainwashing to prioritize feeling sympathy for boys competing in girls sports, instead of girls who lose opportunities to boys competing in girls sports.
