What is he doing that would take any step towards getting real wages above their 1972 peak? In fact, he proposes artificially lowering wages by suppressing the rights of the workers to form unions. Just get them even lower. In half a century, the American real gdp per capita almost doubled. Not a single cent of that has gone to the American worker. It all goes to the parasitic owners of capital, like Citizen Trump. 0% of economic growth is realized by American workers.

Why do Republicans demand that Americans work for free, to subsidize the parasitic owners of capital increasing their unearned incomes by hundreds and hundreds of percentage points? Why must all economic growth, in the republican view, go to interest income from accrual of capital owned by the 0.1%, rather than earned labor income that the rest of us produce?

It is a law of economics, an accounting identity, that if real GDP per capita goes up, and labor income does not, the difference is going to interest income - i.e. the owners of capital who subsist on rent from accrued capital. Only 0.1% of the population is wealthy enough that the majority of their income comes from interest on capital, but they're reaping all of the benefits of this economy. The problem is that more people are earning money simply by sitting around and owning shit, rather than putting in a hard days work.

Republicans somehow have managed to fool people into thinking the problem is immigrants and the smidgen of people who receive TANF income aid, which is ridiculous - immigrants earn income too, TANF aid is counted as income in these identities, the income these people have been receiving is just as suppressed as everyone else's by the capitalist parasites.
