Why do leftists hate children?

Why do you think they hate children?

Because they want the ability to kill the inconvenient ones before they're born?
 
The City of Seattle just did that for a program where the city councilmen each had a sum of (city) $ to give to a charity. One had been giving to a Christian-run food bank for several yrs. Someone reported it to the media and it had to be stopped on the grounds of separation of church and state.

I dont like it and think that's a bit extreme, however I do support it because I believe in the overall principle of that separation.
