Why did the Democrats keep Biden on the ticket for so long? They must have known he was deteriorated past the point where he was effective as a candidate long before that debate debacle.

Was it just the usual Progressive Leftist clinging to power until it was wrenched from their cold, dead, hand thing like so many Democrats in Congress do?

Or, was something else at play?

I suspect Biden's Chief of Staff wanted to keep his job of running the country.

Because they really didn't want to run the old Ho either,...the just didn't have anyone else who would have been more competent. Just shows how bad of shape they are actually in.

Because Biden was obstinate, old school politician who thought he could still win, you don’t tell a sitting President he can’t win, hell, in Trump’s case, that he didn’t win even after the election was long over

And by the way, there are just as many GOP Boomers in Congress as there are Democrats

Correction......OLD HO that is. Young Ho's are bad, middle aged Ho's are worse,....but as just about anyone knows ,....there is nothing worse then an OLD Ho. ;):)

And they still have nobody that is competent. I believe the top ratings for a dem to vie for the 2028 presidential election
shows AOC garnering the most votes with a 10% rating. Others on that sorry assed list of potentials include Tampon Tim,
Pocahontas, newscum, gay blade pete buttigay, and even the embarrassing word salad camela hasbeen.
 
This one's easy. He beat Trump before. He was an acting president, and he wanted to run again. When he froze in the debate, it was no longer possible. Trump did not debate. He parroted his stupid rallies and said nothing of value. However, Biden's freeze took the heat off Trump's dismal performance.
