if there is a trial, there will be a court hearing to determine if the documents did in fact belong to the government.......if there is no trial, I wonder if the FBI will return Trump's property to him.......

Even if it is determined that the “de-classified” documents belong to the government, all that he has to do is return the “de-classified” documents to whatever slug is in charge of documents.
It’s just a property dispute.

one thing that puzzles me is this.......I think it is an unavoidable fact that almost all of these documents have been copied many times......does the government "own" every copy of every document that comes out?......has anyone even THOUGHT about this?......
I would love to see your legal rational for how someone can possess something legally if the law says someone else owns it and the entity that owns them has asked that their property be returned.

There must be millions of documents (copies) in presidential libraries all across America.
