Instead, the rightwing Tea-rorists are planning to pass a budget-slashing GOP plan by Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., chairman of the House Budget Committee, who is seeking unprecedented cuts to programs for the poor such as food stamps, Medicaid, college aid and housing, while easing cost curbs on the Pentagon that gained bipartisan support just months ago.
