A lot of people all around the world think America has entered an alarming phase of decline. Right?
What caused this?
The answer is simple mass non-White, Third-World immigration.
If you look at the demographics of America between 1776 and, say, 1965, you'll see that the US was between 85% and 90% White, thats is, 85% to 90% of the national population were descended from ancestors who were born in North-Wester Europe. (The majority of them were English). During this period America absolutely BOOMED IN EVERY WAY - it settled the North American continent by pushing the Western frontier from the East Coast all the way to Californis; then it built many of the settlement it had established into great cities, giant manufacturing and financial industries. In the cultural/academic realm, America developed prestigious, world-renowed Universities, and it built up the most powerful Military in the world. It created awesome, advanced technology (some of which would put Neil Armstrong on the moon in 1969) Major cities were not violent crime zones. Schoolchildren received a good quality education in subjects like: English, Math, Science (real) History, Civics and so; not in extreme Leftist propaganda (like CRT) or worthless "Woke" bullshit; the traditional Nuclear Family was strong as the foundational unit of society. In 1965, America was acknowledged by all as the shining "Jewel in the Crown" of Western Civilisation. (I think it is fair to say that, because that's what every serious, objective history textbook say.)
In 1965 LBJ ratified the Hart-Celler Act (or the "Immigration and Naturalisation Act). This Act opened up America to mass immigration from the coloured, Third World and this had a strong impact on America's race Demographic over the ensuing decades to date.
On top of this the Democrat Party effectively encouraged mass illegal immigration across the Southern border from Mexico and Latin America by turning a blind eye to it, and even establishing Sactuary Cities and Sanctuary States, like California
In addition, the insane, radical Marxist, Biden Junta has - over a little more than two years - allowed over 7 million coloured, Third World illegal immigrants to enter America - OVER 7 MILLION !! The vast majority of this 7 million speak no English, do not have a high school education, possess only low-level skills suitable for menial/labouring work, will probably not be interested in gainful employment anyway because they will obtain enough funding, grants, benefits, housing, food vouchers not to have to work.Also in this 7 million are a sisable but unknown (precisely) number of violent criminals, murderers, rapists, sex-traffickers, sexual perverts, drug traffickers , gangsters and other antisocial elements.

(1) America: 1776 to 1965
This period one one of extraordinary growth and advance in every major domain of human/social functioning. America was all good - it was a winner, and the greatest nation ever built in the entirety of the 6000 year history of civilization; and the population of the US is 90% White (Western European) for almost all of this period
(2) America: 1965 to 2023
This is a phase of decline that has become increasingly acute. From 85% of the national population in 1965, by 2023 the White (Western European) proportion of the national population has fallen to below 60% and the downward trend is predicted to continue ( by the US Census Bureau) AS for the state of America and American society in 2023, it doesn't look too crash hot to me. The fact that you currently have a Marxist (and I mean that seriously) government in power and a President who is profoundly corrupt AND is now so dementia-addled, he could not possibly wipe his own ass-hole, kind of says it all.
