The WA Libertarian Party had a state convention a few weeks ago, and I caught a few minutes of Alex Rion talking about training and stuff. He's been their standard-barer for the last couple of cycles.
 
In any sensible game theory analysis, voting is pointless to you personally. The probably that your vote could actually make a different multiplied by the good it would do you personally probably isn't worth 20 minutes doing something else.

He changed his stance on the WOD and did some lobbying for the Marijuana Policy Project. I am still skeptical about him on that.

He has been very vocal in his opposition to wiretaps. I don't see any reason to believe he is insincere there.

I did not like Barr either. Just want to be fair.

Maybe I'm thinking of someone else about the wiretapping then. In any case the drug war stance was more than enough to make me regret voting for him last time.
 
what no tea party option, looks like they don't mind throwing out crusty old republicans. They have that in common with democrats.
 
I'll be working towards deadlock. It would make me happiest if nothing more was able to pass without some serious cooperation between the parties. (Which means nothing at all would pass except nonsense about how much of a hero people are, some awards, and confirmation of judges.)
