I seriously doubt a minority would have received such a light sentence.

There are a variety of places to research this story, depending on which bias you choose to align with.

Before I started digging, I was furious too.

But there's quite a bit we don't read about this kid. Before the incident, he logged more hours of community service than almost anyone in his school. His victim recommended that he not do jail time.

She texted him the day after the incident, and told him 'not to worry about it', although that doesn't excuse anything.

It seems as if this shy kid took the opportunity to grope this girl after a long night of drinking. I don't know if jail makes him a better person or not?

Meanwhile, aside from his strict 2 year probation, he was already denied by the college he planned to attend. It's not like he won't be infamous, and no doubt will have many years of stigma attached.

pshhh. he is white. jail it is :)

yes because not one black person in the history of this country has ever gone free for a crime he/she committed.

But, it makes Kenny feel good to feel guilty. Instead of being catholic and doing penance, he suffers at the altar of liberalism.
