Robert Curtis Doyle and Ronald Beasley Chaney III were arrested on accusations of being white supremacists plotting to bomb black churches and synagogues.


A third man, Charles Daniel Halderman, was also arrested on accusations that he was going to help Doyle and Chaney in robbing and killing a jewelry dealer

Court documents reveal disturbing new details in a child molestation case involving a fired Elkhart County school janitor. Donald Powers, 53, admitted to investigators that he intentionally fondled a child over the course of 3 years.

The Elkhart County prosecutor's office submitted the paperwork Friday to officially charge powers with two counts of child molesting but at close of business, the judge still had not signed them and given them to the clerk's office to file.

According to documents from a hearing in the case this week, Powers admitted he fondled the child, who was younger than 14, between 50 and 75 times. He also admitted that and other sexual contact made him, 'a little excited' with sexual gratification.
