“Phone conversations that reportedly occurred with Trump during the gap of 7 hours and 37 minutes gap include conversations with House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) and Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah), whom Trump called in order to get in touch with Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.)”

Nixon’s was only an eighteen minute gap, this is seven hours, seven hours where there are already documented phone conversations with numerous advocates

Interesting, it only took a dozen phrases, that is phrases, pulled from over five thousand plus Emails between two FBI agents to launch a full right wing conspiracy supposedly against Trump, even drew Congressional attention and hearings, but seven hours of missing phone records on the day the Capitol was attacked isn’t even worth a mention on the right today

If so, then they will be attacked as, how did Jimmy Jordan put it, supposedly something somebody said to somebody who told somebody else, can't beat primary sources, besides it isn't just the actual records, but just as much, why were they omitted from the archives

Perhaps he was talking to his lawyers to find a way to make it legal for him to have sex with his eldest daughter.

Well, there are a couple of reasons there, first off, if such, he didn't report accurate records to the National Archives and would be in violation of the Presidential Records Act

Secondly, what has been disclosed and documented is that the President was on the phone with numerous individuals during the specified time period

Third, he may not be President at the moment, but he is running for President at the current time

And lastly, it is important to get an accurate accounting of what did transpire that day, not like storming the Capitol and threatening the Vice President happens often

A crime is a crime...especially if it affects current events. Dump wants to run again, and he wants any and all local politicians nationally to be on his team. Those still in Congress who supported him and enabled him need to stained by those actions. Nailing him as the corrupt POS he is can only benefit the country.

And if it were a Dem in office (or just out) doing the same, I'd say the same. That's the beauty of being an Independent voter, I legitimately can criticize anyone I want.

There would have to be some evidence that demonstrated Trump ordered the records altered, knew they were altered, or altered them himself. He’s not as honorable as Nixon who resigned even though the evidence wasn’t ironclad.

A couple of Republican critters had to meet with him and tell him he was GOING DOWN if he didn’t resign
