AntiFa has earned this title due to its violent actions in multiple cities and their influence in the killings of multiple police officers throughout the United States,” the petition, started Thursday, states.

Antifa is short for anti-fascists, and the people involved are generally extreme leftists known for their face-offs with right-wing activists, including recently in Berkeley, Calif. Antifa counter-protesters made an appearance in Charlottesville, Va. this past weekend and clashed this past weekend and clashed with white supremacy and neo-Nazi groups protesting the removal of a Robert E. Lee statue.

according to the New York Penal Law 240.35(4), it is illegal to congregate in public with two or more people while each wearing a mask or any face covering which disguises your identity.

While wearing masks or disguises is not usually illegal, if someone wears a mask or disguise to avoid being detected by the police he or she could be charged with a criminal offense. Under California Penal Code Section 185 PC, it is unlawful to wear a mask or disguise in order to evade the police.

why are these goons just given a pass? are we that ball-less we won't enforce law because of politics?

The anti fascists were a small part of a much larger demonstration against right-wing evil.

Heather Heyer was not part of any group, as were the VAST majority of those who stood against the right-wing filth.

In most pictures of the Charlottesville counter-protests, Antifa were even't visible.

they do not have a right to wear masks to conceal id from cops- the fact they bring weapons is also not covered by free speech.
Nazi's should be condemned, so should antifa
