That's very nice of you to say so but some people don't really need my help to prove their stupidity. However, good Samaritan as i am, i am always willing to lend a hand.

Perhaps we could both learn a thing or two from each other? You could learn where you've been going wrong with your clichéd posting style, your talking points garnered from right-wing blogs and your whole discredited world view and i could learn some great new ways to call you stupid. In a nice way though. :)

Yes, I need to learn from a guy who has so much extra time on his hands that he helps himself to threads where he can apparently piss his time a way all for the hell of it. Some people of course would call that just being an ass. I will call it silly dithering by a man who obviously is unable to disect and debate what someone has said and instead thinks he looks intelligent by attacking the messenger and calling something stupid.

Of course men like you are always in need of something to jack-off over...anything will do, so enjoy.

At least you've taken the first step now and admitted that you've got much to learn. I recommend that our intense re-education programme gets started as soon as possible to save you any further needless embarrassment at the hands of any other jackals hanging about the 'Whatever Goes' forum.

Lesson 1.
When posting links try not to utilise ridiculous sources. For example, using people who are self-confessed lying criminals, alleged drug runners and political lackeys as sources doesn't tend to work too well. It is a bit like linking to Paris Hilton commenting on the future direction of graduate engineering programmes or Stephen Hawkins' new total body workout video.

Oh, I am learning so much! I have learned that arrogance and idiocy are hallmarks of your charm. It did take a few days and few posts for me to catch on, but I am just a republican after all. :)

To be admired and respected by them he must show them compassion. That you think a CIC lacking in such a show of compassion is OK seems naive to me. In addressing troops at times of war I can think of no president who would share your view, though in this instance Obama's compassion appears to be indifferent at best.

now you're getting off the beaten path. I never said he didn't have to 'show' compassion, just that a plain leader doesn't have any to order men and women of his nation in to death filled situations. As you said, a GOOD leader will have to make that moral choice and for most people with good morals, won't be able to unless absolutely necessary. Look to history my young friend. You will see what the difference is.

Preposterous! First, as we have already clarified there are no cameras. Second, being their CIC, meaning he is no "regular leader" but their leader at the highest level, any show of compassion and care should be the norm.

I cannot imagine having a president who did not take with a grave repsonsibility towards and absolute compassion for, the lives of those he must put in harms way.

Just because you say it is "fake" does not make it so. Can you imagine ordering someone into harms way for the sake of country and not feeling compassion for them, for their sacrifice?

That would make you a pretty cold fish wouldn't it?
 
Why are you liberals surprised? Obama said very clearly during his campaign that he would send reinforcements to Afghanistan. He was basically presented with two options: send more troops to assist those already on the ground, or pull out altogether and surrender to the Taliban. If you were in his shoes, what decision would you make?

To maintain the status quo would be death by slow torture.

But with the additional support, I guarantee fewer soldiers will lose their lives. The war in Afghanistan was and is justified. I only wish Congress had issued a formal declaration of war, instead of writing the President a blank check.

You may not like war (I certainly do not) but for the love of God, let's be realistic.
