I'm sear (lower case, an improper noun perhaps.
The sear is the component of a gun-lock between trigger and hammer.
The shooter pulls the trigger.

BUT !!

It's the "sear" that determines whether or when the hammer will fall.

I was invited to be a moderator at a Current Events BBS late in the previous millennium. I needed a pseud.

But I wanted a pseud that would mean, anyone can pull the trigger.

BUT !!

It was Moderator sear that would determine whether and when the hammer would fall.

I've been sear ever since.

Nothing to be ashamed of MM #4. But in your case I understand why you'd have picked a pseud w/ a courtesy title.
Your parents naming their son "anal" does to say the least seem a bit cheeky.
