Have you ever wondered what Abraham Lincoln would say about today's Republican Party? I have created this video to hear what I believe Lincoln would say if he could speak to present day Republicans.

Sounds more like your video is spoofing what Lincoln would say about southern democrats,....after all, they were the plantation owners of the time....

I don't know what a pinhead might think Lincoln would say about the Republican's....but after all, he was a Republican....
I do know Karl Marx would be overjoyed about the direction of the democratic party....
He'd be amazed at how well his views and todays democrats views dove-tail so nicely...

He'd be disappointed by the GOP but still just as opposed to the Dems. Lincoln was a convert to the GOP from the Whigs in large part to fight the political power of the Dems, let's not forget.

Labor is prior to, and independent of, capital. Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if labor had not first existed. Labor is the superior of capital, and deserves much the higher consideration.

Lincoln would be a left wing democrat in the eyes of modern conservatives. He believed in America not chinese communists.

Lincoln loved Marx.:)

soooo... what you're saying is that Lincoln was a communist?

or are you still fighting the North's war of aggression lost cause??

I didn't make up that quote. It's Lincoln's words. Sorry if it goes against your conditioning.
:readit:

lincoln was an authoritarian, plain and simple. if you didn't do what he said/wanted/ordered, then you were banished/imprisoned/killed. So spare me the bullshit notions that lincoln loved freedom, because he didn't.

Lincoln was a Marxists before Marx wrote it all down.

You're educated enough to know the truth about what really happened. ("the North's war of aggression"):clink: Even though you probably don't beleive it.

I've never heard this before. I don't doubt it, but could you tell me where to go to read more.

I found out (researching) that Lincoln corresponded with Marx.

it's a personal opinion based on stalins actions in the USSR and how they seemed to mimic lincolns during the civil war.
