They will agree on the amount the tax amount needs to be on the rich. Ie say the amount the higher rate equals or slightly less.
These loophole will be used for that revue.

Quicker depreciation for oil exploration.
 
Or we go over the curb ( oh exsqueeze me ) cliff and then bank all the military cuts and Bush tax rate experation ( which was sold to the Americans people as temparary) and then in two weeks with a new congress more dem we fix the rest of the austerity crap the republicans insisted be in the bill.

Thanks, gotta hunch Obama will feel better if he keeps the middle class taxes not raised and still gets the same pound of flesh from the rich!

I like your plan. Go with that
 
they can be allowed to happen and then in two weeks a more dem government can fix what we need fixed and leave the rest.

Agreed...that's my first choice. I'd also like to clarify that the 'middle class tax break' not come from paying less into SS. While I understand why it was done I don't think it should be continued. SS needs to be fully funded so it is there for those coming after.
