What Republicans are embarrased that Newt won a primary?

At least in the Democratic Party our blowhard wackos dont win primaries. We kept Jessie Jackson, for example, relegated to the single digits.
 
Because not everyone is an idiot right wing hack who bought the insane lies spewed by the tea party owners

Funny, I seem to recall John Edwards winning primaries. I also recall that Al Gore, blowhard wacko extreme actually was a Dem VP and Presidential candidate.

Nice to know you 'relegated the black man' to single digits. Jessie Jackson has a LOT of views I disagree with, but he is a far better candidate than Edwards was.

The only primary that John Edwards won was South Carolina, just like Newt. Maybe the problem is unique to South Carolina, not to either of the parties.

Edwards had personal affairs that were known AFTER the primaries, what Gingrich did to his wives was already known about.

Al Gore is much more mainstreem than Gingrich. Gore was a Senator from Tenneessee! He was Vice President. Gingrich has never even won a state wide election anywhere!
 
Yes the former Speaker of the House won a primary. OMG it is so totally embarrassing. I marched down to City Hall to change my registration today.

I agree with all of this, but I don't think Jackson is so far out of the mainstream, especially back when he ran. I wouldn't term Jesse Jackson a "whacko".
 
BTW, I don't know if anyone else knows this, but Jesse jackson used to be HOT. I am used to him from today you know? Definitely not my type. One day I saw this picture of him and Gloria Steinem standing together from back in the early 70's. Of course she was famously a knock out. But I didn't know about him. If they weren't doing it like bunnies they should have been!
 
Speaking of Newt, did anyone read that he is running ads accusing Romney of force feeding holocaust victims non-kosher food? In florida?

It's so hysterical. I can't wait till the weepy wendy's come out during the general to clutch their pearls and yell "CHICAGO POLITICS!!!" "OMG HE IS SUCH A THUG!" when Obama says he disagrees with the Republican candidate.

It's going to be so excellent. I know they are warming up their pearls now.
