”Trump Tells Supporters They Must Fight to the Death to Stop Schools From Teaching Kids About Systemic Racism”

It is just Donnie stepping in it again, however, with all the gun nut whacked wingers out there you would think, given his position witch the dimwits, he’d choose his vocabulary very carefully, especially when he is talking about something that doesn’t even exist. We’ve seen this before from political and media figures on the right

But it serves him personally, so in his, and their eyes, it make him “smart”

do you really think "laying down their lives defending their country" is talking about killing and assassinating others?........

I'm no rightist for sure, but even I can understand that.
This is America.
It's what we do.

And it's probably what other nations should do more.

At least we're the leaders in something.

Wait a minute, how does "fighting to the Death to Stop Schools From Teaching Kids About Systemic Racism" translate into "laying down their lives in defending their country?" You trying to tell us fighting in school board meetings equates to being killed on the battlefield?

Guess we know who Donnie was talking to in his "fighting to the death"

The Right prefers that in comparison to the Left who prefer concentration camps, gulags, political prisons, and forced reeducation camps...

systemic racism?
Biden says it exists

Does, but it, specifically, CRT, is not taught in any public K-12 school in America

Just another example of Trump demagoguing a talking point for personal political ends obviously to possible consequences

Does, but it, specifically, CRT, is not taught in any public K-12 school in America

As a theory or course in applying it. It is taught as part of curricula and used as a pedagogy. What those, like you, do is conflate the two to deny its use when it is plainly obvious there's a difference between learning CRT and using the theory to mold curricula and pedagogy.

How does one take a graduate level course of study and reframe it to teach it in the K-12 curriculum? That would be like taking Kierkegaard's understanding of existentialism and adapting for high school consumption, can't be done

One takes what they learn in that "graduate level course" and applies it to designing and including material that follows what they learned about CRT to K-12 level curricula. That's how that works. It isn't CRT that's being taught. It's CRT that's influencing and molding the curricula that is being used to teach other subjects. If you can't comprehend that difference you are hopelessly lost on this subject.

Here's someone showing how this is done:

By understanding and utilizing elements of critical race theory, critical pedagogists can provide safe classroom environments that empower students to critically examine racism, sexism, classism, and other forms of oppression within the classroom as well as within their everyday lives

Yet if I were a public school teacher today, that’s exactly what a new rule issued by the Biden administration would force me to do. The proposed rule enshrines critical race theory in the nation’s K-12 curriculum for history and civics. New guidelines will promote “racially, ethnically, culturally, and linguistically responsive teaching and learning practices” designed to incorporate “anti-racism.” The rule cites (and praises) radical scholar Ibram X. Kendi and the New York Times's debunked 1619 Project

CRT isn't being taught, it is being used to influence, shape, and mold what is being taught.

Give examples of this "reframing".

Wait a minute, so you are implying that the average public school teacher now has had the graduate level CRT graduate level course of study or at least knowledge and is now using what they've learned into their daily teachings? They going to have them start reading Sterling Tucker and like as mandatory reading?

CRT is not in public schools, what you, and the right are doing, is demagoguing the very mention of race in schools as a scare tactic, employing CRT's tenant of institutionalized racism as some common denominator to all public education, which it is not, nor could ever be

No real need on my part to do so. I gave ample proof that CRT is being used to influence what is being taught in K-12 schools even if the underlying theory itself is not being taught.

Not being used, too complex to be used for kids, as I said, it would be like using Kierkegaard to explain life

SCREW THE LEFTIDIOT "WORD DANCE" OVER CRT:

ARE CHILDREN BEING TAUGHT THAT THEY ARE BORN "OPPRESSORS" OR "VICTIMS" BASED ON THE COLOR OF THEIR SKIN??

THEY SURE AS FUCK ARE.

CHECKMATE.
