You have to go back to Reagan's 1st term to find a time when Republicans were actually good for the economy.
Both Bush jr. and Trump had decent starts - but it doesn't mean a thing if you leave office w/ the economy struggling.

Obstruct obstruct obstruct. That's about the only useful thing they can and will do. Anything to keep the government from spending more money and causing more inflation.
I doubt they will do anything about the actual increase in crime (it's not pretend, it's quite real, and people who live in the real world have seen it in their own communities), but honestly that's better than the 'defund the police' idiocy the left has been pushing. The police need MORE funding and a complete overhaul and actual training, not less funding.

They will write bills to increase oil and gas production and DARE Biden to veto it. Oil and gas affects EVERYTHING that is manufactured or shipped. Lowering the price of fossil fuels would help reduce inflation. They would help increase manufacturing . More products competing for the same amount of dollars helps reduce prices. They would write bills that decrease government spending and that would decrease inflation and then we would DARE Biden to not sign the bill. So Republicans want to decrease government spending, increase energy production and increase manufacturing. If the Biden administration refuses to help do those basic things then the Dems will need to be thrown out of the White House in 2024 also.

Republicans always talk a big game on spending. I'm fiscally more conservative, so when Republicans win, I always see that as a silver lining.
But they never really follow through. They just spend a ton on different stuff than Dems spend on.

Trump failed at his. You can't credit good economies under Dem Presidents to Republicans in Congress, and try to take blame away from bad economies under Republican Presidents by putting it on Dems.

The Democrat states that shut down helped kill the economy. Trump did not do that he wanted to chill things down for 2 weeks not for months and months. The economy of places like Florida and Texas did much better than Michigan and New York .

Yes, it's pretend. Violent crime dropped in 2021 compared to 2020, and it is far below the levels of the 1990s and 2000s. It is on par with 2017. And to hear Republicans tell it, we are in a hellscape of violent crime. We aren't. You bought what they are selling, but what they're selling is total bullshit. And they HAVE NO PLAN to fix this imaginary problem. But they DO have a plan to fix the imaginary problem of voter fraud. This election is very simple. Republicans SHOULD be swept out enmasse. It won't happen, but it absolutely should. There are hundreds of election deniers running for offices all over the country. Guess how many are Democrats? Zero. The Republican party is engaged in a silent coup, and anyone who votes for them is giving tacit support to that coup. It is in plain sight. We already have some AG candidates and gubernatorial candidates who say they would have certified the election for Trump in states that Biden won. If they get away with this, democracy is dead. Period. If you vote for them, you are enabling them. No other issue matters if we lose free and fair elections, and that's what's about to happen.
