Guarantee you those cars were made in Michigan and of such poor quality they were impossible to drive hence the result.

Haha! My family tree in Ohio goes back to that time so my relatives could have been driving as well. Actually my relatives wouldn't drive something made in Michigan so I take that last comment back.

The excuse of every Ohio driver. For all their claimed superiority to MI, they have trouble with even the simplest of our machines.
