"Trump believes Putin on Russia meddling and says Mueller may cost lives"

"After a brief meeting with the Russian leader on the margins of an Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (Apec) summit in Vietnam, Trump launched a tirade against special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into possible collusion between his campaign and the Kremlin."

"The investigation could cost “millions and millions of lives”, Trump claimed, by hindering agreement with Moscow over conflicts in Syria and Ukraine and a looming confrontation with North Korea"

Just makes America look petty, not to mention the believing Putin naivety coming from an American President, embarrassing considering it was his own Justice Dept that appointed a Special Coucil.

Got to love the "millions and millions" of lives, he just can't help himself talking in superlatives

Well, it appears to trigger you, anchovies, so that's a bonus.

trump will be tried as a traitor.

Sure he will, loser.

How many times a day does some liberal breathlessly inform the world that this time...

Were the Dixie Chicks President of the United States, leader of Marion, at the time?

It was different when Obama did it, right, anchovies?

The scene was striking: an American president, standing before reporters on foreign soil, declaring that one of his potential successors had “rattled” other heads of state because he had displayed “either an ignorance of world affairs or a cavalier attitude” about them.

President Obama’s public disparagement Thursday of Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee, during a news conference in Ise City, Japan, obliterated the now-quaint political convention that partisanship stops at the water’s edge.

I have always wondered if there are some modern, independent nation-states on the planet that do not make significant public expenditures on the public commons, social welfare, education, and basic societal needs. Are there any in the G-20 nations? In fact, I have spent years asking rightwingers to provide me a list of these nations, and the only answer I get is complete silence!

And now you have cholera!!

The president is a moron.

Was Obama a moron when he did something similar, hag?

People have this discussion all the time about Libertarianism and the role of gov't. If you haven't heard any answers it's because you've chosen not too. It's easier to make a boogey man out of them that way.

From a Libertarian perspective I think some/many would say the Constitution is the most Libertarian document created. But there is no pure Libertarian nation. Are there anarchists in the Libertarian movement? Yes, there are. But that's no different than leftist groups. They are the fringe, not the majority.

Is there a law saying you can’t?

If there was, Obama broke it, but no liberal will criticize him for doing the same thing they slam Trump for.

I'm not surprised you don't get it..what is the "millions of lives?" War.
Tensions are higher then any time then in the Cold War with the possible exception of the USSR's invasion
of the then state of Czechoslovakia.

That was a hair trigger time, and what did Carter do put put on sanctions - but the difference now and then
is that back then we were TALKING TO EACH OTHER - both at low and high diplomatic levels..
which we are NOT doing now

There is also Syria - thankfully Putin/Trump did another deal that sets up permanent de-confliction,
and more cease fires zones -as well as allowing the US into Geneva peace talks with an active role.

Finally North Korea: the sanction are an irritant to Putin.
Why should he cooperate with our security needs on North Korea? NK isn't firing any ICBM's over Russian airspace.
As far as Putin is concerned a nuclear attack on the USA or it's territories is not his problem

Trump is saying the sanctions could
cost “millions and millions of lives”, Trump claimed, by hindering agreement with Moscow over conflicts in Syria and Ukraine and a looming confrontation with North Korea"
as the sanctions were because of the "Russian collusion" investigation that spawned Mueller.

Learn how everything in diplomatic relations is connected in one way or the other.
Nothing by realpolitik relations is in a vacuum by itself
