Like, there have been some things he says a lot that I agree with on in broad strokes, but then he lets things slip like "and nobody died" which to him probably doesn't even seem like anything of merit in his sentence but stands out like a sore thumb to everyone else. Then he says that because a 13 year old isn't a virgin it somehow "puts a fresh perspective on things"...........
like.... because she had sex before . . . it's like, a point to consider when thinking about how she was drugged and raped?
It's just really fucking bizarre how someone can think like that. I don't see how it's possible to have that thought process. Really fucking weird. Even weirder how he can say it out loud so confidently and nonchalantly.
Interesting post. It really made me think. I realized that there are still widely-held misconceptions about who rapes. Maybe we tend to think or imagine anyway, that rapists skulk around in trench coats, never come out during the day, smell of trash, don't work, are homeless, maybe sleep in a coffin...
In fact, rapists work and live and walk among us.
When not raping they shop for groceries, they go to work, they coach little league, they mow their lawns...they also think about rape, imagine rape, and often, they post about rape on the internet.
Yes, rapists use the internet!
So the next time you see someone posting fucked up shit about rape, and you think it's a big mystery, it's not. They're likely rapists! Actual rapists, future rapists, they raped last night, they raped 20 years ago, they are hoping to rape someone for the first time in the future - but they're fucking rapists.
Mystery solved. Herein endeth the lesson.
