Whilst accepting that Trump is his own worst enemy, it has to be said that this Russian collusion stuff is truly execrable for the most part. It's a bit like the McCarthy era in reverse but with the Russians still playing the part of the baddies. If it were a plot for a novel it would be dismissed as wildly fanciful and truly over the top.
