I don't see a clear objective. Why do we want to topple Assad when the outcome is a foregone conclusion? The retired idiot/colonel what's his name told Tucker the other night the Kurds will take it over.

This is by the way, one of the real reasons the warhawk Hillary was rejected.

what are we doing?? good question..mostly throwing weapons/money into the cauldron trying to effect the outcome. and not being successful since we back weak proxies

'Assad must go"was the Obama meme..now that Russia is the big player..maybe,maybe not.

Mostly we want a seat at the peace talks/negotiations..for what it's worth (not much)

Not what I hear. ISIS fighters live amongst others, and you have not declared war on any of them. Keeping out of the Middle East is the only sensible policy.
