Funny.... the title says 'what a fool believes' and then spits out Dem talking points.

Think about that for a moment Ken.

LOL...I thought almost the same thing but you have to replace the "Dem" in your post with "Liberal." Also, notice the guy on the front who is supposed representative of the GOP resembles James Carville more than anyone else I know.

Obama should be impeached, so should pelosi and reid, for forcing through such an illegal and unconstitutional abomination like that healthcare bill. In fact, any one who voted for it and is still in office should be charged for violating their oaths of office and re-educated in the constitution.

What a waste of time and money, I thought we were cutting expenses and the conservatives want to impeach Democratic president's for the dumbest reasons and let the Republican president commit war crimes! I just don't understand why this happens if you are smarter than me.

Remember the conversation yesterday where we echoed the need for more moderate voices. Here is an example of one on the extreme right. If legislators are conviced to pursue this course of action after January you can rest assured that nothing positive for our country will get done. I can only pray that they are smarter than this.

What a fool believes...

Republicans haven't created any jobs?
Sold us out to big corporations?
Tried to take away soc. sec.?
Tried to take away medicare?
Tried to take away unemployment?
And are trying to impeach Obama?
Hound Barack Obama out of the W.H.?

I never thought I'd actually agree with Kenneth the Pinhead on anything, but I have to agree with him on this....

these are certainly things that only a freakin' FOOL would believe....

agreed. As long as the prevailing thought is 'payback', we will never accomplish anything of benefit to our country as a whole.

There is NO reason to impeach Obama. I don't think he is a good President. He is in way over his head, while at the same time appearing to think himself superfantabulous at all aspects of the Presidency (which scares me). But again, he has done nothing to warrant any discussion of impeachment.

If the Reps are smart (which is doubtful), they will focus on passing bills that they think will benefit the country and then have the Dems and Obama either work to reach a compromise, accept the bill or veto it.

I am once again forwarding my tax proposal to Udall, Bennett (CO Senators) and my rep (Mike Coffman).

I will also include how we can cut spending... military/defense, education, medicare/medicaid etc....

In addition I will send them my thoughts on Social Security.

I encourage everyone to do the same (obviously with your positions, not necessarily mine... though mine are obviously the most awesome... dare I say legen.... wait for it....dary'

an interesting issue in an odd way....

Can you name me one or two Republican office holders that have voiced any threat of impeachment....or anything even approaching something like it....?

and I certainly don't mean some tea party marcher or silly protester on the sidewalk...

I will answer this. I have not heard from anyone who will serve in the next congress who has voiced this. Like I say, I pray that they are smarter than that.

At the time Bill Clinton was impeached to many (present company excluded) it seemed like the right thing to do. However, looking back, some of those same people involved (probably not a majority of them) realize that it looked like a petty witch hunt perpetrated by those who did not like him. Yes, he lied under oath, yes, he tainted the office of the presidency....but impeach him? Sure looked petty to most of the country http://www.democrats.com/clinton-impeachment-polls ....and that's why I hope this group of conservatives is smarter than that.

No... I do not see any doing so. My reply was in response to an earlier post in this thread where US stated we should impeach Obama and Pelosi. It was a response to that line of thinking, regardless of whether or not the person who said it holds office.

No matter what one thinks of Bill Clinton or any President for that matter,
PERJURY by a sitting President is not a minor item...the idea that impeachment was too stringent will be debated for years to come.....personally, I think a censure of reprimand would have sufficed...

You are right. Perjury isn't a minor thing for anyone....sitting president or not. But his perjury was about what?

I'm just saying that to most of the country it looked like the political witch-hunt that it was....and that most of the country didn't want impeachment proceedings to go on. That is all.

Pesonnally he should have told them to pound sand; because the direction they took had nothing to do with the situation.
I think what pissed most people off, was the idea that it appeared that he was above everything and could get away with lying.
