It was riddled with enough pork that Pelosi knew it wouldn’t pass the Senate because—-try and keep up here, Pelosi didn’t want Trump signing a relief bill in an election year.

Fast forward months later, Pelosi *goes against her own caucus* by not backing a 1.8 trillion dollar bill because_________.

"This is a very strategically planned piece of legislation that is tailored strictly to meet the needs of the American people regarding the coronavirus pandemic," House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said on the House floor ahead of the vote. "To do anything less would not be responsible."

Most Republicans derided the bill as a wish list from House Democrats to push ahead of November's election. Bipartisan talks have stalled with the GOP-led Senate and the Trump administration.

Pelosi maintained the measure is focused on reopening the economy, but the plan is dead on arrival in the Senate.

How odd it is that this out-of-control debt and/or deficit seems to always get far worse under (R) presidents. We're lucky we have President Biden. He'll fix it, like the last (D) POTUS did.
 
Trump is a narcissist and con man, and he's ready to let the country burn because he can't stand losing.

He will go down as the worst President we've ever had, by a mile. The only hope we can have is that he doesn't do more damage in the next 3 weeks.
