Following a horrific crime, a teen murderer was sentenced to life in prison after he smirked in the courtroom and remarked how he’d “be home soon.” Reacting to his disrespect, the judge put the teen criminal back in his place with an epic comeback, which drew widespread support from online conservatives.
For context, John Honore attempted to carjack 73-year-old Linda Frickey in New Orleans on March 21, 2022. Honore attacked the female victim, pepper-sprayed her, and then dragged Frickey behind the stolen vehicle for over 200 yards, leading to her death. Ultimately, he was sentenced to life in prison with a possibility of parole in 25 years.
Starting off with a flippant response, the convicted murderer said, “I just want to tell y’all I’ll be home soon, or I’ll be keen (sic) on I love my family,” shortly before sentencing. However, the judge had other plans and sent the teenage hooligan reeling.
Slamming the disrespectful criminal, the judge said, “We’ll go to trial, and if you’re convicted of felony murder, you’ll go to prison for the rest of your life. That means you’ll die there. That’s what I’m tempted to do due to the horrifying nature of the crime.”
Under a clip of the interaction posted to X, conservatives flocked to the comments to express their anger. One such comment said, “The glorification of these types of activities is a product of Hollywood. Game theory says that Divide and Conquer is phase 1. This activity is a huge divider. We have to unite as a country now. America As One is an unstoppable force united as one! This is their fear.”
