Because SCOTUS basically just gave them free reign, and took away much of the EPA's power to regulate.

Take note if you enjoy your air to be at least somewhat clean. Maybe think about that the next time an election rolls around.
 
I don't even trust American voters anymore.

Not while we have the albatross of red states hanging from our necks.
 
I don't trust the EPA to do anything right. Look at the Gold King mine disaster they caused. They then told the thousands of people effected by it to basically shove off because as they were the government they didn't have to pay for damages caused.

Corporations at least can be brought to heel, the EPA not so much.
