Vote yourself a big Tax Cut....

Then dont require your canidate to cut any spending....

Dig a huge economic hole that requires bailing out to avoid a depression.

Push the debt off onto your children.

Blame the Democrats for the bad economy.

Enjoy the extra $425.00 you saved due to the tax cuts while the nation suffers.

The Modern Republican.

Vote yourself a huge medical bill that could have had the same results at a fraction of the cost by adding regulations and expanding medicare.

Lie to everyone saying its revenue neutral and wont effect patient care even tho there is profound evidence to the contrary in states that implemented similar.

Enjoy future crowd-out of getting medical care and waiting in long lines for your care.

Blame republicans that there tax cuts ruined the economy and it had nothing to do with congress pushing for sub-prime loans on houses so that everyone can own a house. Or for changing SEC rules so that Hedge funds can exasperate market collapse.

In the future blame the republicans for lower quality health care and tax increases required to pay for the most massive increase of governement since social security.

Chap, medicare coverage stops at 133% of the poverty line under this new bill. How can a middle class family afford coverage by themselves in these times?

The only real reason that the bill cost a lot was because of the subsidies, and it is money well spent, IMHO.

Hey Chap, you headed to the Tea Party tomorrow?

What evidence?

There will be some adjustments, but the increased demand for medical doctors will eventually be met. That's how the market works. What would you rather do? Eliminate the demand for doctors by having poor people die?

No one has claimed that the tax cuts ruined the economy. Just that they weren't worth the deficit we took on.

and it had nothing to do with congress pushing for sub-prime loans on houses so that everyone can own a house.

It didn't.

Or for changing SEC rules so that Hedge funds can exasperate market collapse.

That was a bad idea.

There won't be need for any tax increases or spending cuts besides the ones scheduled for at least the next 20 years.

WA is about to get tax increases. I'm sure the smokers will enjoy the extra dollar we're going to charge per-pack, and children will enjoy the new taxes on pop and gum. And then we'll all enjoy the sales tax they are going to drop on hairdressing, in all randomness. And then they're going after beer...

:woot:

It seems like WA decided it was high time to raise every easy to raise tax they could.

Beer will be the most controversial. We've officially made smokers our bitches since 2006, so they will bend over politely. Not too sure about the hairdressing one, since that's got to be like the female equivilent of taxing beer, plus the sheer randomness of it will turn heads.

Well, it is random and only effects a minority of people. That makes it a lot easier to raise than something like the sales tax.

to fund some of the massive overruns on the healthcare in MA they have added sin taxes to cigs.. $8 a pack or so now, added 6.5% to beer and alcohol, 25% increase to the general sales tax, increased tolls by about 50% and are talking about jacking up gas taxes. hence why scott brown won.

I'd prefer to "vote" for a spending cut and a balanced budget amendment.

Is any canidate running on those? Id give that canidate serious consideration if they would outline where the spending cuts came from.
